The SCLJ has published a complete collection of legal acts, case-law and theological expert evidence aimed at religious associations and addressed observation of freedom of conscience and religion in Russia.

The guidebook is an improved and revised third re-edition of the original book that first came out in 2001 and was re-published in 2006. This new edition introduces information on all new amendments to the Freedom of Conscience Act, presidential edicts, executive orders and other legal acts related to the subject of religion. The book also provides the most information about case-law of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts of the Russian Federation as well as the European Court of Human Rights.

The guidebook will be helpful to members of the law enforcement and governmental or municipal officials whose responsibilities include relations with religious organizations. It may also serve as a reference book for students of religious educational institutions who study Religion and Law.
